magnitude

For the first time in history the countess gets to bed before midnight, only to be somewhat violently awoken by a “4.6-magnitude event” at one in the morning. Now the sirens are a-blaring and the copters are a-buzzing and every little creak in the building (are there more than usual, or am I being paranoid?) yells “aftershocks can be bigger, you know…”

The bottle of tiger lily fell off the nightstand.

I <3 the Los Angeles Special Map.
