Lykke Li’s Myspace page lists her influences as “Late nights/early mornings. Jane Birkin with no top on.”

I really liked her EP, and I really, really, really liked her live, but the topless Jane Birkin thing sealed the deal.

Back when I had better hair, someone (in an entirely unexpected moment of temporary genius) said to me “You should take your shirt off. You’d look just like Jane Birkin.”
