testing, testing: noise ninja

I hate my noisy pictures, so I’m playing around with Noise Ninja to celebrate Memorial Day. I just started, so please send advice.

I used to use Noise Ninja often with the Nikon D2x (it was nasty). With the right amount of tweaking, NN can render excellent results.
If Picture Code has a profile for your camera, that’s a good starting point. Also, I often profile individual images, which seems to often preserve more detail/reduce more noise to a nice degree.
I find NN works best with JPGs output from RAW.
Cheers, Todd. Going to play around with it some more tonight, I hope, so I’ll consider all that.
