kanye west at kroq almost acoustic christmas

I can really take no credit for that picture, because we got one song that was lit almost entirely by strobes and I just held down the shutter button and hoped for good Kanye luck.

My card filled up (Uh, *duh*. I’ve never, ever done that before, I swear.) and that was the very last shot that I got — when I saw the glare on the sunglasses I was so happy.

All the blokes were standing around comparing their shots on their huge, manly cameras and sighing over the lack of light, while I stood there secretly gleeful in the knowledge that I probably had a better shot than they did.

Yep, I’m a dork.

May I suggest the next time you hit a barrage of strobe only shoots like that, you slow your shutter speed down to a quarter or half second exposure, and stop down a bit to say 5.6, and you can actually get relatively consistent and sharp images when you are in a strobe barrage. beleive me, its bright enough and you waste less card space that way.

That being said, a one song limit is rough no matter how you cut it.

    nice shot.
